Christine Draycott was born and educated in Bremen, Northern Germany. She began her musical schooling aged seven, playing the recorder before starting to play the cello at nine. In her early teens she became a member of the local youth orchestra, a little later the orchestra of the music academy in Bremen and an ensemble for ancient music. At sixteen she began her full time music studies at the "Folkwang School for music and dance" in Essen and continued studies at the music academy in Stuttgart. Upon completing her studies she joined the symphony orchestra in Reutlingen near Stuttgart and in January 1992 joined the Bournemouth Symphony orchestra, where she played for some nine years. Over the past year she has been living and working in Norway and performed in a variety of venues. Additionally she has been taking part in the International Diploma in performance at the Grieg Academy Bergen, performing with Dan Laurin (recorder) and Jan Bjøranger (violin) as well as the 1B1 ensemble Stavanger and with BIT20, ensemble for contemporary music in Bergen. Additionally she has been expanding her skills to playing Baroque cello, performing in small ensembles. A qualified pilot, Christine at one time flew Boeing 737's, and currently works for the MOD at Boscombe Down

Chris Coote started playing the piano at the age of four, and performing from the age of eleven, mainly to captive audiences in old people's homes. He has attended master classes for many years at Morley College under Martino Tirimo and Gwenneth Pryor, and was taught by Jean Anderson and Fiona Cameron, both retired professors from the Royal Academy of Music. Never having taken a piano exam previously, he decided to prove to his three musical children that he could play by gaining a performance LTCL in 2005. Since retiring fully from professional life as an actuary in 2013, a replacement career has opened up, and he now performs regularly as a soloist and collaborative pianist. He is chairman of the Bognor Regis Music Club, and accompanies services at Chichester Baptist Church and other local churches.
