Alison Woodward won a scholarship to study music at the University of Chichester and gained a 1st Class Hons Degree as well as the Wiley Prize for Academic Excellence. She was also awarded a Distinction at Masters level in music performance. Alison currently freelances as a soloist and session musician and performs in a variety of orchestral and chamber ensembles. She has recorded for several films, one of which won the Caligari Prize in the Berlin Film Festival. Alison has also had a selection of published bassoon repertoire dedicated to her. Alison is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chichester and one of the Leaders of the Junior Music Academy.

Suzie Shrubb studied oboe with Sue Hawkins and, at Lancaster University, with Barbara Ingleby. She continued her oboe studies at Trinity College of Music with Stephen Nagy. Whilst in London, Suzie performed in a variety of ensembles, including the Wallace Ensemble, and at St Johns Smith Square with the Blackhorse Chamber Orchestra. She now works as a freelance oboist and teacher of both young and more mature people learning the oboe and piano. She also directs ensemble at the County Music Centres where she has a concert band and double reed ensemble. Suzie plays regularly with orchestras and chamber ensembles, and on soundtrack recordings for film, most notably the award-winning "37 Uses for a Dead Sheep".

Karen Kingsley studied with Jean Hancy at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining prizes and commendations for solo and ensemble playing. She particularly enjoys working with wind instruments; she is a member of the Manington Due with clarinettist Robert Blanken. Their repertoire numbers over 200 works, some of which have been composed especially for them. She is also a member of the chamber ensemble "Anemos". Karen is also a regular concerto soloist. Her repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Chopin, Gerhardt, Grieg, Haydn, Mozart, Poulenc, Rachmaninov, Rubinstein, Saint-Saens and Shostakovich. She is also an experienced accompanist, having played for many festivals, masterclasses and summer schools.
