Helen-Jane Howells is a Samling Scholar and also the winner of
the 2008 John Warner Competition, Russell
Sheppard Vocal Scholarship and the Simon Fletcher Award.
Recent concert work has included Schoenberg Brettl
Lieder as part of a collaboration with the
Philharmonia Orchestra's series "Vienna: City of
Dreams"; solo performances in
the London Handel Festival (Purcell Come Ye Sons and King Arthur).
Other recent performances: a London recital series (Poulenc, Fauré and
Strauss); master-classes with Dame Emma Kirkby and Sir Thomas Allen and solo
performances at St. James' Piccadilly (Messiah) and St. John's, Smith Square (Bach Cantatas).
Upcoming projects include the world premiere at Cadogan
Hall of Carson Cooman's Revelations of Divine Love with
the London Mozart Players and Royal Holloway Choir;
Mozart Requiem; a recital work in the Chichester
Festival; Glyndebourne Festival Chorus (Giulio Cesare
and The Fairy Queen) and a concert of Purcell and Handel
with the renowned Baroque ensemble Florilegium.
Anna Tetsuya graduated from King's College London, and
is currently completing her postgraduate studies at the Royal
College of Music. She performs regularly with Helen-Jane and also
with violinist Abigail Dance, and works as repetiteur
and Musical Director for various operas.

A mixed programme of Romantic lieder and melodies,
folksong and popular arias by
Handel, Britten, Fauré,
Gounod, Coates and Copland.
