Thomas Gould studied at the Royal Academy under Gyorgy Pauk where he received numerous prizes. He led all the College orchestras and is now leader of several orchestras, including co-leader of the Britten Sinfonia. He led the joint orchestras of the Academy with the Julliard School for a BBC Prom conducted by Sir Colin Davis. He is first violin in the Artea String Quartet.

John Reid read Music at Clare College Cambridge and at the Royal Academy. His many awards include the Kathleen Ferrier accompaniment prize and the Gerald Moore award. He has played for Joan Rodgers and Anthony Rolfe-Johnson. His Wigmore Hall debut was with Lucy Crowe in 2004
