Musica Antiqua Basel specialises in the music of the baroque period and have been playing together for many years. They are based in the region of Germany, well known to many members of the Club, Weil am Rhein. As Bognor's Twin Town, we have had many successful musical exchanges since 1989. Fridolin Uhlenhut is the Musical Director of the Weil am Rhein Orchestergesellschaft and as such, celebrates his 30th Anniversary in November 2005. Tonio Passlick is the town's "Culturamt" and has responsibilty for the cultural life of the town. Fridolin and Rita met during their musical training in Vienna.
