Roderick is 19 years old and currently studies with the principal flute of the London Sinfonietta and Royal Academy of Music professor, Sebastian Bell. He has just finished studying at St Philip Howard High School, where he gained A-levels in music, biology and chemistry. Roderick is principal flute of the West Sussex County Youth Orchestra, with whom he has played solo flute in Debussy's "L'apres midi d'un faune" and Cimarosa's Double Flute Concerto. He hopes to play Malcolm Arnold's Flute Concerto with them. Roderick has also played solo flute in Bach's Orchestral Suite No.2 with the Chichester Youth Chamber Orchestra, with whom he was principal flute for four years. He has played locally in recitals at Arundel Cathedral and Bognor Regis Methodist Church and to a 1000+ strong audience in a concert in Littlehampton.

But, perhaps his greatest achievement so far was to be picked to play in a premiere of a work for flute, oboe, two violins and orchestra by Nimrod Borenstein at The Royal Academy of Music and at St James's, Piccadilly, as a result of winning the solo award at the London Concerto Competition. Roderick also enjoys playing chamber music and participating in master classes, in which he has been taught by William Bennett, Jonathan Snowden, Anna Noakes and Wissam Boustany. Roderick has just accepted a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.

Yasmin was born on 26 January 1989. She began playing both piano and violin at the age of four. When she was eleven she gave up the violin to concentrate on the piano.
